What does a Title Plant cost?

Cost is directly related to the number of documents in the plant. A good rule of thumb is to budget from $0.35 to $0.60 per document to purchase a plant.

Is purchasing a Title Plant worth the investment?

Writing title insurance can be a very lucrative business. If you are a title agency in an adjoining county, we can quickly get you licensed and legal in neighboring counties. If you are a real estate broker, you can direct business to your own agency. We can show you how to do this and be fully RESPA compliant.

Can you lease a Title Plant, or purchase on terms?

Yes. We are happy to get you quickly up and running in business. Some ways to do that:

1.  Purchase, and spread the payments over time. You own the plant.
2.  Lease for a monthly fee. We own the plant. You get unlimited use of the plant during the lease term.
3.  Subscribe to the plant. We do this in some counties. We own the plant, and you pay just for your use. This option might make sense if you are starting your business with limited title orders.

I’m not in the Title Insurance business but would like to be. Is there an easier way to enter the business?
